Cloth Diaper Basics
If you are thinking of using cloth diapers, need a bit of a refresher or just curious, this is the place for you. If I haven't listed what you want to know and you don't want to go searching for the answer (I know how that feels) please contact me and I will do my best to answer your questions.
The first place to start is what diapers to use. There are so very many choices that it could start to seem overwhelming. There are:

Next you need to decide how many. If you are just starting to cloth diaper I recommend my starter package. No matter the age or size of your baby this is a great package to start out with. I recommend having at least 10 diapers to start and if you are wanting to wash about every other day (what I do) then you need 15-20 diapers. You are also going to need a pail liner. I have both the liners as well as the hanging pails. A wet bag is a must if you are going to be going anywhere. You use the wet bag to put your dirty diapers in when you are out and about. I like the Regular sized one for when I go shopping at the store, and the day one for when I make whole day trips and overnight trips. If you need any help please contact me.
Now that you know which diapers you want to use, finding out how to properly take care of them is next step. The care and washing of diapers is one of the most important things about cloth diapers. Click here to find the basics of care, and a comparison chart of the different detergents.
